Requirements

Grades will be determined by Oral Examinations. All the readings are required

After two weeks of discussion of the books that give an overview of American Wars there will be a week devoted to oral exams. We will cover those Wars with the highest death toll -- The Civil War; World War II; World War I; Vietnam, and Korea -- with readings on the post World War II problems of the United States' involvement in "minor" wars.
